Workplace Discrimination Play - Managing disability discrimination starts here.

Workplace Discrimination Play

Disability discrimination hides in everyday decisions.

Disability discrimination claims are rising. But it’s not just the legal implications, It’s the employee who never felt supported, and the team watching how you handled it.

‘Connor’s Hard Work’ is an interactive, theatre-based experience about workplace disability discrimination, how to navigate the complexity, and to support employees legally and ethically.

This play was created to provide a safe and impactful environment where participants experience a range of emotions by watching the characters interact with each other and the audience. It can be performed as a 2-hour stand alone experience, or incorporated into the half day EEO bullying workshop. The aim is to provide an engaging, impactful and memorable alternative to the often dry, PowerPoint presentations.

This play is part of our immersive corporate theatre experiences which involve professional actors and real-life scenarios. They provide a creative avenue for your organisation to educate your managers and staff about unlawful workplace behaviours and the consequences. It works well with small groups, right up to conference-size audiences.

What people say about this play

Play was great. Great course and run well to make what could be a hard subject interesting, fun and informative. Thank you.

Gina DeRosaLibrary Officer, City of Kwinana

Loved it! Like actors acting out instead of me. Seeing examples makes situations that could develop more clear, easier to call it out for what it is.

Adam StreleinYouth & Community Wellbeing Manager, City of Kwinana

Excellent delivery style to maintain attention/engagement and make it ‘real’ via demonstration/observation.

Eddie Wynne-WillsonYouth Development Officer, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale

I thought the workshop was enjoyable but also very informative.

Bing Lim Manager Project Development, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale

Congrats on finding a creative and interesting way to deliver a very dry topic.
