Psychosocial hazards - from awareness to action, in real time

Psychosocial Hazards are in your workplace. We help you see them, name them and act on them.

The gap between awareness and action is where the legal and cultural damage happens. We close that gap

Holistic workplace safety is not just about physical safety but psychosocial safety as well. WorkSafe regulations now require employers to recognise and address psychosocial hazards – with significant penalties for non-compliance.

This workshop explains the main psychosocial hazards as outlined in the WA Code of Practice and makes them understandable in a unique, interactive and memorable way. We can adapt the workshop content to suit the Codes of Practice of all states and territories.

In our latest survey, 96% of participants agreed that their understanding of what different psychosocial hazards look like in their workplace had improved.

Overview

Unlike physical hazards, psychosocial hazards are less obvious and can affect the mental, social and emotional wellbeing of employees. Understanding and addressing psychosocial hazards is essential for creating a safe, supportive, and resilient work environment where everyone can thrive.

Who is this workshop for?

I have attended a number of similar sessions in the past and this one was by far and away the best! Quite often at these types of sessions you are bombarded with higher level info/concepts that can be quite ‘dry’ and therefore go out of your head pretty quickly. The information at this session and the way it was presented, ensure it was engaging, practically useful and could be retained. Franca is a brilliant facilitator.
