Psychosocial Hazards Play Launch – Thank You

The launch of our new play ‘Psychosocial Hazards. Now You See It…’ was a blockbuster by all accounts. It was a full house and the audience got stuck into the immersive theatre, interacted with our professional actors, and changed the narrative, live.

The reviews were amazing… we are grateful and buoyed by such an enthusiastic response. All proceeds from this event were donated to Opportunity International Australia. If you would like to contribute, please click here.

Part of WHS Legislation

WHS laws state that a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) must eliminate psychosocial risks, or minimise them so far as is reasonably practicable. Penalties for non-compliance can be as high as $5 million and 20 years in jail.

Understanding and addressing psychosocial hazards is essential for creating a safe and respectful work environment. Our new play ‘Psychosocial Hazards. Now You See It…’ explains psychosocial hazards as outlined in the WA Code of Practice and makes them understandable in a unique, interactive and memorable way.

We are now taking bookings for 2025. If you want to secure a great deal with our 2024 prices, please contact clair@equalopportunitytraining.com.au If you would like to discuss what training would be most useful to your workplace, please call Franca on 0405 134 187.

“It was really good, we were able to see, interact and engage with it. A good way of bringing workplace issues to life. We have a new law to help the psychosocial and mental health of our employees, and this workshop really helps us with the tools to bring us up to speed with how we can help our employees. EEO Specialists are very much at the forefront by giving us the tools so that we can thrive in the workplace.”

“The Psychosocial Hazards Play Launch was an incredibly insightful and impactful experience. It effectively brought attention to the often-overlooked mental and emotional challenges people face in various environments. The play was not only engaging but also thought-provoking, highlighting the importance of recognizing and addressing psychosocial hazards in the workplace and beyond. The discussions and resources shared throughout the event have left me with a deeper understanding of the subject and a greater commitment to promoting mental well-being in my own community. It was an eye-opening experience, and I highly recommend others to book this workshop in 2025!”
