Overview

Power Hours are EEO Specialists’ 60-120 minute focused, practical sessions that give your team useful content, the legally grounded, real tools, and without the commitment of a full workshop.

Why Our Power Hours Work:

Modern workplaces are under increasing pressure to build respectful cultures, meet legal obligations and support employee wellbeing—while balancing busy operational demands.

Traditional full-day training isn’t always practical. Power Hour Workshops provide targeted learning that fits into lunch breaks, team meetings or professional development calendars.

EEO Specialists focus on 4 core areas:

01

Compliance & Risk

Every Power Hour is grounded in current workplace law. Safety training and the requirements in the positive duty guidelines call for, meaningful, ongoing communication, not a once-off tick-box activity, and since December 2022 the AHRC can investigate without a complaint.
02

Resolving Workplace Issues

Because each Power Hour focuses on one specific topic, your people leave with one tool they can use immediately on a real issue, not a folder of notes that never gets revisited. That immediacy is what changes what happens when the next issue arises.
03

People & Wellbeing

Our topics build real confidence: navigating a difficult conversation, understanding psychological safety, knowing there's a clear process if something goes wrong. That clarity isn't just informative, it's creates confidence which assists in employee’s wellbeing.
04

Communication & Connection

Consistent, smaller doses of learning build habits better than one annual session. A regular series keeps good behaviour part of the everyday conversation and gives teams a shared language for raising concerns and having hard conversations together.

Frequently asked questions

Workshops can be 1 to 2 hours in length. Depending on what is suitable for your business and employees

They actors role model real workplace scenarios, resulting in the participants recognising real behaviours not hypothetical ones. This is our key to driving behaviour change. When you can see it, you can change it and challenge it.

The research behind this approach is straightforward: people remember what they feel, not just what they hear. Watching a scenario play out in front of you – and recognising colleagues, managers, or yourself in what you see – creates a learning moment that a slideshow cannot replicate. 95% of participants who have experienced EEO’s theatre sessions agree the actors enhanced their understanding of the workshop content.

We can cater from small groups right up to 100+ participants.

Whichever works best for your business and employees. We have a range of experienced and engaged facilitaors that will work with you to make the training as successful as possible.

Absolutely. Combining 2 or 3 power hours back-to-back is a great way to tackle a range of topics in one training session.

We work with organisations of all sizes, across all industries, from small businesses and community organisations through to large government agencies and national employers.
