Training Content that makes a Difference
Our commitment to quality starts with ensuring that our training is legally sound, engaging, effective, and up to date.
- All content is created and reviewed regularly by Franca Sala Tenna – our Founder who is a lawyer with 16 years of experience in workplace behaviour compliance.
- Feedback from workshop participants is collated continually and incorporated into content reviews.
- Content of our interactive theatre plays is assessed and refreshed periodically. Scenarios are customised for each organisation after confidential conversations with employees and key personnel.
Experienced and Engaging Facilitators
Becoming an EEO Specialists facilitator is no easy feat. They need to have significant industry experience as a facilitator and/or as a senior manager. Then they must pass our stringent Train the Trainer Program to meet our high facilitation standard and understanding of legal content that underpins our training. Once part of our team, facilitators:
- Receive ongoing in-house professional development to build on skills as lifelong learners.
- Are assessed by Franca for coaching and/or training purposes at least once a year through our continual professional development assessment process.
- Debrief regularly with our General Manager to refine content and delivery.
- Are trained across multiple workshops to ensure consistency and flexibility.
This ongoing investment ensures that every facilitator delivers training with empathy, authority and impact.
Evaluation for Improvement
Regular feedback supports our commitment to continual improvement as participants complete surveys after every workshop.
In 2024, we partnered with an experienced academic to standardise our survey questions. This has given us robust data to monitor quality and guide improvements. These surveys help us to track:
- Knowledge and skills gained
- Satisfaction with content and delivery
- Suggestions for improvement
This process reflects the Australian Human Rights Commission’s guidance that workplace behaviour training must be evidence-based. We are committed to and working towards this.
Power of Interactive Theatre
Our in-house team of professional actors elevate our training into engaging learning experiences. Through role play and improvisation, workshop participants engage actively with the actors in real-world workplace scenarios.
Each actor is carefully auditioned for performance, improvisation, and small group facilitation skills. With guidance from our Corporate Theatre Manager, they receive ongoing training and professional development, ensuring their performances evolve with workplace realities.
As an integral part of our team, our actors live our values, understand our ethos, our clients’ needs, and the content.
